Yesterday, I began taking down my Halloween decorations & preparing my home for Thanksgiving. The process is not as hard as it sounds since both Halloween & Thanksgiving use pumpkins in their decorating themes! I enjoy adding seasonal touches to my home throughout the year. However, I do NOT enjoy spending a fortune on those decorations! To help keep my cost down(& in some cases non-existent) I make many of my own seasonal touches to use throughout my home. You can also easily add simple Thanksgiving pieces to your home this November when you create your own decorations. No idea where or how to begin? Even in Southern California, we get to experience beautiful fall colors. The liquid amber trees lining the streets in Old Towne turn brilliant shades of orange & red to our neighborhood. While our fall colors aren’t as expansive as the rest of the country, they are still wonderful.
